It runs in the background, freeing the owner from constant management.

The Core Problem

Every order came through WhatsApp. Staff tracked product requests and delivery addresses in shared notebooks or chaotic message threads. Orders were frequently dropped. Stock levels were disconnected from sales. The owner spent every evening manually cross-referencing bank alerts against WhatsApp screenshots. This manual grind stopped the business from scaling beyond what human staff could physically manage.

Infrastructure & Reliability

Nigerian businesses need systems that work even when power or internet fails. Staff internet drops or power cuts mean lost orders. This system runs the entire order and payment process on cloud servers, not on a staff phone. A customer's WhatsApp request gets processed and they get their payment link, even if the business owner's phone is off. The data architecture is compliant with NDPA 2023, protecting customer details like phone numbers and delivery locations.

My Approach

Every action a customer takes—asking about a product, requesting delivery—triggers automatically inside WhatsApp without the owner needing to do anything. The system intercepts inbound messages via the WhatsApp Cloud API. It routes them through a LangGraph AI pipeline powered by Gemini. The AI parses the non-linear way Nigerians text, extracts requested items, and builds a cart. Once the customer confirms, the system creates a secured order and automatically sends a unique Paystack checkout link. Payment webhooks instantly transition the order to "PAID" and notify the delivery dashboard.

System Capabilities & Impact

Capable of processing 50+ concurrent WhatsApp checkout inquiries without human intervention. Mathematically eliminates manual payment verification by linking Paystack webhooks directly to order fulfillment states. Instantly reserves stock the second a cart is generated, preventing inventory overselling. Staff never touch an invoice or account number; the AI handles the entire calculation and link generation natively.
